Pedro Marques

With nearly two decades designing software, I have always been passionate about building things no matter the medium, from code, design to teams. Currently at Personio, I'm the Director of Product Design where we are working on making exceptional craft a lever for growth and product differentiation. My journey has taken me through leading global teams at Shopify where we built Shopify Markets a native solution to allow merchants to sell internationally and with that completely reimagined the entire platform around the Markets primitive.

Previously the Global Director of Product Design at adidas focused on Checkout, Payments, Post Purchase experience and Customer Service tooling and Head of Product Design at Adyen for In-person Payments where I had the chance to lead industrial and software design for Point of Sale and serve as the Product Lead for our applied machine learning based tools.

When I'm not at work I'm usually building things, racing cars or snowboarding.
